Accessorizing and Looking Fab at the Oscars..Who Pulled it Off?

The Oscars Red Carpet Event last night, (and every year), is a time where we get to critique and point out some of our favorite best/worst-dressed celebrities, and equally important..best/worst-accessorized!

Giorgio Armani once said, "I design for real people. I think of our customers all the time. There is so virtue whatsoever in creating clothing or accessories that are not practical."

Dazzling, long earrings are a must-have, especially with an elegant, simple dress. On the other hand, when wearing a dress that already may have too much going on, simple, small earrings are all you need. You never want to over-accessorize!

Cuffed bracelets, or stacking several bracelets together is also a great idea when trying to add some flavor to your look. Sarah Jessica Parker did just that at the Oscars, shown below.

Who Bedazzled us?! Grammy Edition!

The Grammy Awards were last sunday, and there were definitely a lot of unique pieces of jewelry and accessories! The Red Carpet interviews were mostly about what stars were wearing, and how they wore what they did. Here a few of my favorites from the exciting event..

Snake Bracelets may seem a little too much, but with the right dress and colors they are actually a unique piece of jewelry. I personally thought Lea Michele's cuff snake bracelet (pictured on the left) matched perfectly with her dress, and attracted a lot of attention. Kim Kardashian sported a Lorraine Schwartz yellow diamond and platinum snake cuff (pictured in the middle).
Also, the more bangles the better! They can be different, as long as most include the same colors/style (Miley Cyrus's bangles pictured on the right)

Trendy clutches that match with your outfit also make the perfect accessory.

Dianna Agron held a detailed Judith Leiber box clutch

Evil Eyes Everywhere!

I absolutely love my evil eye bracelets, which display a strong meaning in my Persian culture. Although the evil eye is a Turkish symbol, many other individuals of different nationalities, such as Persians, Greeks, and Egyptians, sport the evil eye too. In fact, Egyptians have their own unique representation of the evil eye (shown below). I love this design so much that I even have a tattoo of it!

Egyptian Evil Eye Design

It is becoming more and more known around the  world everyday, with its display in pieces of jewelry, and other accessories, such as scarvesThe evil eye has several different meanings, but in my Persian culture, it represents: keeping the "bad" away, and allowing good karma into your life. Every chance I get, I collect more and more of the bracelets, and I recently received an evil eye necklace as well.

Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, also love sporting the evil eye, whether it's around her wrist or neck!

They're everywhere! Even in a scarf...

Introduction

One of my favorite things about fashion is being able to accessorize an outfit with just a piece of jewelry, a purse, or a scarf! I have an obsession with jewelry, so I will probably focus a lot on different jewelry pieces and styles that can make you stand out! Other accessories are also important when going for the trendy look.

I hope to open my own jewelry line one day...so you can definitely check that out here too!
